Starting with a back massage to loosen up any tightness over the lower back, hips, lats and shoulders, the client starts in a prone position allowing the therapist to work deeply into shoulder blades releasing tension that maybe causing headaches. As the client turns over to face up, the therapist is able to work up over the neck and shoulder area from a different perspective and reaching deep into the scalp to release pressure points and finally relax the client deeply with some scalp massage.
