We’re Here for You

When choosing a therapist, you want to be sure you’re choosing one that you can fully trust to answer all of your questions and concerns.
Below, you’ll will find a list of some frequently asked questions from my clients.
If your still unsure of anything please don't hesitate to get in touch today for more information.

What will my first session be like?

Initially, we will have a chat then go through a detailed consultation with you.

You will not be expected to complete this on your own as there maybe questions which we need to talk about. This is why it is important that you are on time for your appointment as I allow 15 minutes for this to be complete without it eating into your treatment.

Once we are both satisfied that you are ready to commence with the treatment, I will leave the room whilst you undress down to your Underwear for a man, Bra and Knickers for a woman when having a massage.

If you are having Reflexology, Reiki or Hopi Ear Candling, there is no need to undress.

During your massage, if you are unhappy with the amount of pressure felt or anything else, please let me know so that I can lighten it, make it firmer or help you to the best that I can.

After your treatment, You will be sat up  given a glass of water. Its important that you drink water or herbal teas following a treatment to help flush away toxins that have been released during your therapy. You will then be given some aftercare advice after each visit.

Do you treat patients with severe health problems?

Yes, Massage and Holistic treatments can be very beneficial to someone suffering from a variety of different severe health conditions.

Depending on your specific health condition and your choice of therapy. You may be required to produce written permission from your doctor or consultant. (This is not usually a problem and in my 26 years of practice I have never found it a problem for any of my clients).

Do you help treat Terminal illness?

Yes, Massage and Holistic Therapy can be enormously helpful in relieving the discomfort and side affects bought on by terminal illness.
Reiki can be extremely relaxing and soothing as well as a gentle Aromatherapy Massage to soothe the body and help with sleep.

Do you have a waiting room?

Unfortunately - no I don't.
I leave plenty of time in between clients to enable you to not to feel rushed before and after your treatment.
Please be considerate to the next client and and be on time as this allows things to move smoothly.

I also ask that if you are early, please can you be patient as I may still be finishing with my last client and they will expect the same courtesy as yourself

Where can I park/How do I get to you?

Please come to the side of the house and ring the door bell for entry into the clinic.

If arriving by car you can park on Leys Gardens as there are no parking restrictions.

If you park at the top of the road by the shops ( Slip Road) you will need to pay and display.

If arriving by Tube take the Piccadilly Line (Dark Blue) to Cockfosters Station. When you exit the tube, turn towards the shops and walk 5-8 mins.

Leys Gardens is on your left, last turning before the roundabout.
